+ How big is the Dirt Oval at Castrol Raceway?

Castrol Raceway is a multi-sport racing facility. It includes a 3/8th mile semi-banked oval dirt track. Grandstand and VIP Skybox suite seating totals nearly 8,000 spectators.

+ Can I camp at Castrol Raceway?

Yes! non-hook up Camping is available by Contacting Castrol Raceway. Please contact the Castrol Raceway office at (780) 461-5801. Ginga Ninja Dirt is not responsible for camping reservations.

Ticket Information

+ How do I purchase tickets?

Tickets are avaiable for purchase at the spectator gates ONLY. For group or corporate outings call Ginga Ninja Dirt Promotions at 780-474-2900. Cash, Credit or Debit cards are accepted.

+ How much is a season pass?

Season Passes are available for Individuals or Families. Family Season Passes include 2 Adult and 2 Children. Season Passes include all Nite Thunder, Gold Cup and Extreme Cup Events (20 Events). Please check the Ticket Page for pricing.

+ What time do the gates open?

Spectator Gates open at 4:00 PM on Fridays and 3:30 PM on Saturdays. Race Program begins at 7:00 PM each night.

+ How do I purchase or rent a VIP Skybox suite?

VIP Skybox Suites are available on a seasonal or by a single event rental program. Great for corporate groups or private parties. Please contact Ron MacDonell by email for information on annual and nightly VIP Skybox Suite rentals.

+ Can I go into the pit area?

Ginga Ninja Dirt Promotions offers pre race spectator pit tours for all ages on Saturday ONLY. All interested parties are to meet at the west end of the concession area (Pit tour Sign). You will board the bus at 4:15 PM the tour will last roughly one hour. Once the features are completed the fans are invited to the pit area located behind the racetrack. During an event the pit area is restricted to those who have purchased a pit pass. All guests who purchase a pit pass are required to sign a waiver before entering. Children under the age of 14 are not allowed in the Pit area during an event.

Planning Your Visit

+ Can I bring my own cooler?

No. Food and drink options are available at the racetrack courtesy of Castrol Raceway and their vendors. Bottled water is permitted.

+ Are pets allowed?

No pets are allowed with exception to certified & marked service animals.

+ What kind of race cars can I expect to see?

+ What is your rain out policy?

A rain out credit will ONLY be called if the event is cancelled prior to the completion of all heat races. All fans/competitors must maintain their proof of purchase (ticket stub/wrist band) for re-entry. Rain out tickets can be used for any Nite Thunder event. (exceptions; cannot be used for special events unless that event is rained out)

+ How can I meet drivers & See race cars close up?

We are happy to provide our fans this up close and personal experience before and after race events.
